Kulture KaBoom offers a taste of history through our Taco Rice. Being that American troops stationed in Okinawa Japan after WWII helped inspire and create taco rice, Kulture KaBoom wants to introduce this forgotten piece of history into American culture.
Taco Rice combines the tex-mex flavor of the US with the salty, umami flavor of Okinawa Japan. It takes what you would put on a regular taco (like meat, cheese, lettuce, etc) and combines it with Japanese sticky rice.
Our own secret recipe! It’s what makes our taco rice explode with flavor!

Taco rice originated in Okinawa Japan and was inspired by the American Troops stationed there after WWII. A Japanese chef named Matsuzo Gibo took the tex mex flavor from the American troops and combined it with the salty umami flavor of Japan. We have thrown a modern twist onto this cultural dish and created our own version of Taco meat seasoning that infuses even more of a Japanese flavor into the dish.
We want to bring Taco Rice to the United States to introduce an explosion of new flavor, adventure, and history. We want to bring taste buds to life and fill the empty void of boring, flavorless food. Kulture KaBoom is a fun, family friendly establishment that just wants to serve delicious food and put smiles on people’s faces in these times of need!
